Why Intensive?
Learn to drive in 1 to 5 days!
The advantage of an Intensive course where you learn to drive in a short period of time is that they don't go on for months on end, unlike hourly weekly lessons.
Your progress will be monitored on a graded report form system and progress will be discussed on a regular basis during the course. EDITA intensive courses are strictly conducted on a one-to-one basis allowing yourself to learn at your own pace and getting the full benefit of the course that you have paid for. You will be taught by a Driving Standards Agency approved driving instructor which will display a green valid licence on their windscreen. The tuition vehicle will be a modern dual-controlled car covered with fully comprehensive insurance.
Your first step will be to take advantage of our special low rate introductory trial lesson. The reason for this is so that you can get to know your instructor and the tuition vehicle and for your instructor to get to know you. At the end of this your instructor will be able to have monitored your learning ability and give advice on the appropriate course for your learning/driving ability.
Courses will usually be conducted over a 1,2,3,4 or 5 day period. Each training session will last approx 3 hours with a 5/10 minute break in the morning and at least 1 hour break for lunch. The afternoon session will last for 3 hours with a 5/10 minute break in between.
EDITA will arrange your test a few days after the end of the course. This is so that you are more relaxed and focussed for the test day.
We do recommend that you pass your theory test before you start the intensive course. The reason for this is we can't book a driving test until you have passed your theory test, although it's not essential.
